About Me....

I am a father of two young adults who are now out in the working world, and I have been married for 24 years.
I met my wife when I was 17 and she was 15 -
yup, that's right, teenage sweethearts. So I reckon I have a handle on the whole marriage thing... or she lets me think I do.

I am a communicator and story teller by nature so as well as being a Celebrant I work as a Journalist, Broadcaster, Presenter, Event MC and videographer.

My workload varies from magazine writing, to presenting motorsport on television, or sitting behind a microphone as a commentator, or backup host for Newstalk ZB & Radio Sport.

I also keep the crowds informed and entertained at events like the V8 Supercars and Rugby World Cup - so for me a wedding crowd is easy. It’s just a natural extension for me to work with people as a Marriage Celebrant.

My role as your Celebrant is to support you, and to help you share the special day with your guests. With me you'll have a celebrant that likes to interact with your friends and family at the ceremony, and have lots of unscripted fun with the two special people up front.

As well as that I can assist with your general plans for the day, and act as a Master of Ceremonies for your post ceremony reception.

My perception of people and an expertise in dealing with them (and that includes family) will remove your worries, and give you the confidence needed to relax and enjoy your very special day
